Not only did I finish The Minimalist Way by Erica Layne, but I also finished two audiobooks, Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde and The Whispered Word by Ellery Adams. The Boyfriend went out with friends last night after work, so I had the apartment all to myself (and the cat).

I wasn’t much in the mood to read any of the books I’ve been reading, so I started, and nearly finished, The Minimalist Way by Erica Layne. I plan on finishing it today, and then maybe returning to my current TBR.

I love starting out a New Year with a readathon, especially when it’s a week-long readathon. It’s even better when it’s the 2nd week, rather than the 1st of the year, giving me some time to settle in to my new annual reading goal.

  • Finish at least one of the books I’m currently reading.
  • Finish one more book from my TBR.
