  • All of the overtime I’ve been working has caused me a lot of pain in my hands and wrists so I haven’t been able to blog, crochet, or do much of anything I enjoy.  I’m definitely not doing any burpies.  I have an Occupational Therapy appointment this morning, so I’m hoping to get my hands back to the point where I can do all the things I love to do.

  • I started Damn Early Days on Monday, and it’s been rough!  It’s so hard to get out of bed at 5 am when I don’t HAVE to get up.  So far, I’ve managed to haul my butt out of bed though.  While I haven’t gotten any time on the treadmill in, I’ve gotten a lot of burpies done.  I hate burpies, but they really get the blood flowing when I need it most.

  • I’m working overtime again this week, but I’m also starting Damn Early Days on Monday, so I’ll be getting at least some time in on the treadmill every morning.
  • The Boyfriend and I have started walking to the grocery store down the street to get stuff for a date night dinner on Fridays instead of going to a restaurant.  While the main reason is to save money, it also means we’re both getting some extra exercise before we eat pizza or some other calorie laden dinner.

  • I’m working from home now, so I’ll be starting a new routine next week.
  • I’ve been reading A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson while I walk the Appalachian Trail virtually on Walking 4 Fun.  Since I didn’t start reading until I was well into Stage 6 of the trail, I had a bit of catching up to do in the book.  However, now I’m stuck at chapter 8, and I won’t be able to read any more for awhile until I get to where Bryson and his hiking friend are in Gatlinburg, TN.  It’s more than 30 miles from where I’m at right now.
