- This check-in is for April 22nd – 28th.
- I’ve managed to keep 3 lbs. off so far this week. Completely quitting sugar hasn’t been too difficult, except for a couple of days after Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon. I was majorly craving all kinds of junk food. I’m sure those cravings came from a lack of sleep, and I didn’t give in to them.
- This week, my goal was to average 5k steps per day (I’m in week 5 of the program, but only week 4 into quitting sugar). That was easy to meet, but I’ll have to work a little bit harder to get next week’s average of 6k steps per day.

Great job on the weight loss and uping the step count. Yea!! Good luck keeping up the pace.
You had a great week! Go you on cutting out the sugar…I’ve been trying to cut down my sugar intake and it’s tough! While I don’t eat a ton of sugary foods, I do like to put sugar in my tea and can’t imagine drinking it without any. I don’t drink any soda and only have lightly sweetened iced tea during the spring/summer months – but lately have been drinking green iced tea unsweetened. I do drink a ton of water, so that seems to help! Good luck on sticking with the program and hope you have a great week!
