#FitReaders Check-In

  • This check-in is for November 15th – 21st.
  • I signed up for a year-long virtual race for 2020 through Racery.  It’s a 500 mile course through Ireland, and I can’t wait to get started!
  • If you have a FitBit, you can find me HERE.
  • Active Days: 4/5
  • Steps: 47,124
  • Miles: 19.42

“Monday’s Minutes” is a weekly post in which I track my bookish life.

Currently Reading:

Total books for the year: 70 of 75. I think this will be the last time I extend my reading goal for the year. I only pushed it up to 75 because I don’t think I’ll finish 10 more books in a month and a half.

#FitReaders Check-In

  • This check-in is for November 8th – 14th.
  • My physical therapy is going very well, and I’m feeling better than I have in a long time.  It’s showing up in my totals for the week, so I know it’s not all in my head.

#FitReaders Check-In

  • This check-in is for November 1st – 7th.
  • I woke up late yesterday morning and went to see “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” last night, which is why I didn’t post this yesterday.
  • I had a falling out with a friend on Sunday, and that has caused me quite a lot of pain.  So, for November, I’m going to focus on self-care, including getting enough sunlight and exercise.  I’m also trying to jump start my daily meditation practice.

I have a bunch of Cozy Mysteries lined up to listen to at some point over the next couple of months, and I’m very much looking forward to some #AudioCrafting or #AudioColoring.

#FitReaders Check-In

  • This check-in is for October 25th – 31st.

#Readathon – Final Update

Dewey's Readathon_Pocketwatch_Bellezza

I’ve survived another Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon! However, I fell asleep some time around 1 am.

  • Total Pages Read: 886

End of Event Survey

  1. How would you assess your reading overall? It was great up until I fell asleep. I finished 2 books, and most of a 3rd.
  2. Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it? My strategy was to listen to audiobooks while I did other things, and to stick to mostly shorter, Middle-Grade books when I switched over to physical books.
  3. What was your favorite snack? The homemade pumpkin bread was so yummy!
  4. Wanna volunteer for our next event? I might finally try my hand at helping out.

#Readathon – Update 2

Dewey's Readathon_Pocketwatch_Bellezza

I’ve survived 16 hours of Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon.

  • Pages Read: 287
  • Books Read: The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman
  • Time Read: 8 hours
  • Yummy in my Tummy: 2 more giant cups of tea and more pumpkin bread, Pepper Imps, and some Indian food from Trader Joes.

Until my final update, at 5 am PST, I’ll probably move on to some of the shorter books from my Goodreads list.

Whether you’re participating in the readathon or not, what book(s) are you currently reading?
