- This check-in is for October 28th – November 3rd.
- Mandatory overtime is finally over! Now I just have to get my butt out of bed to go workout in the mornings.
- My new FitBit is much more accurate than my old one, and it turns out, I haven’t been getting nearly as many steps or burning as many calories as my old one was counting 🙁 No wonder I haven’t been losing any weight.
- I wrote up a new plan, which means some new goals, but I haven’t implemented it yet, so I’m going to wait until the next check-in to list them below.
- If you have a FitBit, you can find me HERE.
- Steps: 24,093/49,000

Well, that blows about the old Fitbit, but glad you are happy with the new one! My mom recently switched to a Garman and wore both the same day. She actually got more steps on the Garman than the Fitbit Charge HR! I think the important thing is to find a plan and be consistent. Sounds like you are on your way! WOOT!
Sorry about your old FitBit but I’m glad to hear you like your new one. I think I’m going to be needing a new fitness tracker pretty soon, my UP move is acting wonky. I agree with Jen figure out a plan that works for you and stick with it. Looks like your already on your way. Have a great week!
What was your old Fitbit? I had the same issue going from the One to the Alta – the Alta doesn’t pick up some steps that the One does, but picks up other things…but I think it washes out in the end. Good luck with your new plan – can’t wait to see it next week!!!
I also had the One. For me, it doesn’t wash out in the end. I was doing about 6,000 more steps a week according to the One than I do with the Blaze, and I don’t even want to get into the difference in calories burned, but what it means is that I’ve been allowing myself to eat more than I should have because I thought I was burning a lot more calories. I haven’t been losing any weight after the first couple of weeks with the health and fitness program I started, and I’ve even gained some of it back. Now I know why. That’s ok though because now I can fix it 🙂
