- Winter storms are no fun, even when they result in a day off from work. The path to my garage and my driveway turned into an ice skating rink, and putting down salt didn’t do anything. There is just too much ice and snow, and it’s still coming down as I write this. My back is still not good enough to go shoveling, so the Boyfriend is stuck with that task while I make sure he’s got plenty of hot chocolate.

I agree Winter storms are no fun. I was lucky enough to be able to split the shoveling with my husband. Then him and I got to take a break and laugh while our Golden Retriever ran around the yard trying to scoop up all the snow he could in his mouth. 😂
