The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins 12:01 am Monday, January 3rd, and runs through Sunday, January 9th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. I was listening to The Clanlands Almanac by Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish when my earbuds ran out of battery, and then I got busy doing a bunch of stuff that required my concentration, so I ended up not listening to any more of the book. I also didn’t read anything else, so this was my worst reading day out of the whole week.

Overall, I didn’t do too bad. I didn’t meet my goal of finishing 3 books, but I at least finished 2, and while I didn’t read as much as I did during Bout of Books 32, I still read a lot more than I usually read in a week.
