The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins 12:01 am Monday, January 3rd, and runs through Sunday, January 9th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are reading sprints, Twitter chats, and exclusive Instagram challenges, but they’re all completely optional. For all Bout of Books 33 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
I’m nearly done with The Lef-Handed Booksellers of London by Garth Nix, and will likely finish it this morning during my commute to work. I thought I had read a lot more of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon, but it turns out I only got through about 15 pages. I love the story so far, but so much is happening, and there are a lot of characters, so I’m always shocked to find out that I hardly read anything at all.
- Time Read: 4 hours 09 minutes
- Pages Read: 142
- Books Finished: 0

Eep I don’t know when I want to start Bees! I definitely had it preordered since it was available to preorder but now I don’t know if I want to wait a few years (seeing as how it takes her 5+ years to write one) and then reread the WHOLE series before the final book comes out or what. lol. What I am reading though are Vicious, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, A Kiss of Shadows, and The Once and Future Witches. 🙂 Happy BoB!
I decided to start reading it shortly after I got it in the mail, but only because I had just finally gotten to watch season 5 of the show, and didn’t want to wait until March to be back in Outlander world, LOL! As long as it’s taking me to get through the book, that won’t be a problem, and then I might do a slow re-read of the series. Gabaldon is already working on what is supposed to be the final book, so if I re-read them slow enough, and take breaks to watch the series, I might have enough Outlander-related stuff to keep me well immersed until it’s published.
