#BoutofBooks 22 – Day 7 and Wrap-Up

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 14th and runs through Sunday, May 20th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. I finished Gregor the Overlander during the afternoon and then read some of The Evolution of God by Robert Wright.  I had trouble not staying up past my bedtime because The Evolution of God got very interesting and I didn’t want to put it down.  However, starting off the week tired is never a good thing, especially when I’m going to be very busy this week, so I forced myself to turn out the light.
  • Time Read:  3 hours 14 minutes
  • Pages Read: 157
  • Books Finished: Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins, Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones, and Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.
  • Total Number of Books Read: 3

Overall, this wasn’t my best Bout of Books, but that’s ok.  I did manage to finish 3 books and get through a nice chunk of 2 others, which is better than the last Bout of Books when I only finished 2 books.  I’m looking forward to Bout of Books 23 in August!
