I didn’t mention this in previous posts because it wasn’t a big deal at the time, but I have to get an EKG soon. My Doctor was able to rule out the usual causes of my intermittent feeling of being lightheaded (anemia, high/low blood pressure, etc.). Until we figure out what the issue is, I’m taking it easy when it comes to exercise.
I’ve bagged 14 out of 20 Munros in the Munro Step Challenge 2018! The link is to my fundraising page for Bloodwise. My goal is $10 per Munro and there are only 2 days left for me to bag the remaining 6 Munros and raise $200! Will you sponsor me to spur me on?
I’m 7 Munros into the Munro Step Challenge 2018! The link is to my fundraising page for Bloodwise. My goal is $10 per Munro, and so far I’ve gotten 1 donation.
Now that I’ve gotten comfortable with walking regularly, I’ve added back in a step goal of 50K steps per week.
I’ve joined the Munro Step Challenge 2018! The link is to my fundraising page for Bloodwise. I’ve already completed Derry Cairngorm this week (7571 steps).
I’m less than 15 miles away from Waynesboro, VA on the virtual Appalachian Trail (Walking 4 Fun), which means I’ll finally get to pick up A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson again.
The Boyfriend and I went to the Scottish Highland Games on Sunday to celebrate our 5th anniversary. I walked nearly 19K steps throughout the day and was having such a great time that I didn’t even notice it until we were on our way back home.
I’ve temporarily changed my workouts from the strength and circuit training I had been doing to walking “workouts” in which my FitBit registers at least 20 consecutive Active Minutes. My back has continued to bother me, so I’ve been giving it a break as much as I can.
I didn’t workout on Thursday thanks to my apartment building’s fire alarms going off at around 4 am. It ended up being a malfunctioning sensor, so no damage to anything other than everyone’s precious sleep. It also happened to be my first day of work, so I slept in as long as I could before I needed to get ready and out the door.
