Challenges:

Total pages read: 567

Total # of books for the year: 50.  Today is the beginning of another Bout of Books.  As usual, I won’t be posting anything else except for my BoB updates for the rest of the week.  Next week, I’ll be posting several reviews in my renewed attempt to catch up with all the books I’ve read this Summer.  The end of COYER is coming up soon (Sept. 2nd), as well as my Sci-Fi Summer reading challenge (Sept. 21st), so I’m hoping to have at least most of my reviews posted by then.  I’m considering reading nothing but classic literature for the Fall, but I’m not 100% sure about that yet.  There is also a Gothic reading challenge I might participate in, so I’ll be sure to keep you up to date on that.

What are you reading this week?

  1. I just started The End of the World Running Club, which is kind of fun so far. I can’t bring myself to finish Magic Binds yet because I want to write the review in September, if possible. I’m with you- I’m about 3 books behind on reviews and I’m not sure I’ll get around to all of them, but I’ll try. Hope you do well with your Bout of Books!

    1. I wish I was only 3 books behind on reviews. As of yesterday, I’m 8 behind. I think after Bout of Books I’m going to concentrate on writing and slow down on the reading. Having too many reviews to write is better than dealing with a reading slump though, so I can’t really complain.
