- The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan – for the read-along.
- Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness

Finished: Uprooted by Naomi Novik, which I’ll be reviewing sometime this week, and Full Frontal Feminism by Jessica Valenti, which I won’t be reviewing. Though it was a fairly decent book on modern Feminism, much of its information is outdated.

What are you reading this week?
This week I am up in the air. I should have planned but I am in such a mood that I am waiting to see what will strike my fancy 🙂
I rarely ever plan what books I’m going to read, especially now that I’ve got TBR jars. The closest I get to planning is when I choose books for read-a-thons, read-alongs, or stuff like the Classics Club. I think that’s because whenever I do plan on a specific book, that plan usually falls through. For instance, a while back I planned on starting Fool Moon by Jim Butcher shortly after I read the 1st book in the Dresden Files series, but that still hasn’t happened.
I just noticed how much you’re wrecking your Outdo Yourself and Shelf Love challenges – that’s awesome! 🙂
I wish I’d know about Outdo Yourself earlier – I significantly ramped up my reading this year and might even hit the top level, but I doubt I’d increase by the same percentage next year. 😉
There are sixteen days left to sign up for the Outdo Yourself Challenge, so it’s not too late: http://www.thebookvixen.com/2014/11/sign-up-2015-outdo-yourself-reading.html#.VIJq0zHF98F
