It’s a weeklong readathon that begins at 12:01 am Monday, August 16th, and runs through Sunday, August 22nd in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. I finished Sovereign by Jeff Hirsch while I was out grocery shopping. Then I started The Cuckoo’s Cry by Caroline Overington on my way home. Before I went to the grocery store, I stopped at a little restaurant nearby to get breakfast, and while I was finishing my tea, I started reading The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett and then picked it back up after I got back home. It’s so good, I got halfway through it before I went to bed, and I’m hoping to finish it today.
