This weekend my Boyfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary. It’s also the weekend that #BacktoHogwarts day falls on and the start of #RIP. So, I signed up for another readathon on Litsy, #ForTheLoveofBooks. While my goal is only to read as much as possible, I hope to finish most of my current reads. I want to start September fresh.

There are two days left of #BoutofBooks and I hope to finish two more books. That will get me nearly back on track to hitting my TBR goal because I bought more books. As much as I’ve read this week, I would have been ahead otherwise.

If I hit my reading goal and don’t buy any more books for the rest of the year, I could reach my TBR goal, but we all know I’m not likely to go several months without buying a single book! I’ll just have to read more, and luckily, #BoutofBooks is next week. We’re also rapidly approaching my favorite time of year for reading when I tend to fly through books thanks to the #RIP reading challenge and Dewey’s 24-Hour #Readathon.

I got up early this morning to get on the road for the “Wands and Wizards” festival. Many of the local businesses participating had nothing to do with anything related to the wizarding world (one place literally had one “Harry Potter” item for sale in their entire store), but the places that did legitimately join in the fun made the 45-minute drive worth it. I was simultaneously tired and wired by the time I finally decided to head home thanks to all of the sugar, caffeine, and walking.

I only need to finish one more book for the #SciFiSummer reading challenge to become a Time Lord. I also only need to finish one more book to keep me on track for both of my goals, assuming I can stop myself from buying any more books this month.

I bought a lot of books at the Columbus Book Festival last weekend and then even more books during Amazon Prime Days. I am thoroughly stocked up on Science Fiction for many #SciFiSummer reading challenges. I also bought a few Horror novels to add to my #RIP TBR.

Last weekend, I aimed to finish two books for the #SciFiSummer reading challenge, and I succeeded. I am now one book away from being a “Viper Pilot.” One of those books, Titanborn, was an ARC for #CampNetGalley, and the other, The Day of the Troll, was my #DoubleSpin for this month.

This weekend is the Columbus Book Festival. Last year was a blast but there were far more people there than expected and I wasn’t prepared. This year, my goal is to get there at the beginning before it gets too crowded and too hot and I’m taking an extra tote bag with me for all the books and book-related things I know I will end up buying.

My next few weekends will be busy and probably not very relaxing, though they’ll likely be fun. So, I’m doing only what I have to get done this weekend; other than that, I’ll be reading. I want to finish at least two books for the #SciFiSummer reading challenge. I’m also participating in #CampNetGalley and want to finish at least a couple of ARCs I’ve had on my TBR for far too long.

I had a lot of work stress this week and didn’t read as much as I wanted, but I at least started my first book for the #SciFiSummer reading challenge.
