#ThanksgivingReadathon Wrap-up

Is it just me or was this long weekend not long enough?!  The #ThanksgivingReadathon is now over and I feel like I didn’t get enough time to enjoy it.

My TBR:

  • The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • A Philosophy of Walking by Frédéric Gros
  • The Book of Night with Moon by Diane Duane
  • John Saturnall’s Feast by Lawrence Norfold
  • Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor

Out of the 5 books I want to finish before the start of #COYER, I only finished The Silmarillion.

My Goal:

  • Finish at least 3 of the books on my TBR above.

That didn’t happen *sigh*  However, I did get down to about a hundred pages left of Dreams of Gods and Monsters and I got through nearly 200 pages of The Book of Night with Moon.  That’s not horrible, even if I didn’t read as much as I wanted.

  1. I think we’re all experiencing the same thing. We all didn’t read as much as we had anticipated, haha.
I was planning on reading a whole lot more myself, but oh well.. At least it was fun!
I’m almost 100 pages into Days of Blood & Starlight; can’t believe I waited so long to read this trilogy!
[What’s your favorite of the three? :D]

    1. Of the 3, I’m torn between Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Dreams of Gods and Monsters. I have 11 pages left of the last one, so the tie might break depending on how it ends. I do know that I already wish there were more books 🙂

        1. I finished those last few pages and I think it is my favorite of the 3. I’ve definitely got a book hangover and don’t know what to do with myself or what to read next.

          1. Ooh, book hangovers suck so bad!
It always helps me to start reading some of the blurbs of my physical TBR. More often than not I stumble upon something that piques my interest like that.
