It’s time for another Classics Club Spin! Below is my Spin list. I only have 18 books remaining on my master list, so I added the two I’m already reading that weren’t on the list to get the full 20. I’ll have to start repeating titles for future spins as I get closer to finishing the challenge 🙂
- Kafka, Franz: The Trial
- Lawrence, D.H.: Lady Chatterley’s Lover
- Du Maurier, Daphne: Rebecca
- Barrie, J.M.: Peter Pan
- Beckett, Samuel: Waiting for Godot
- Remarque: All Quiet on the Western Front
- Melville, Herman: Moby Dick
- Bronte, Anne: Agnes Grey
- Proust, Marcel: Swann’s Way
- Gogol, Nikolay: Dead Souls
- Eliot, George: Middlemarch
- Hawthorne, Nathaniel: The Scarlet Letter
- Heller, Joseph: Catch-22
- Hemingway, Ernest: A Farewell to Arms
- Cooper, James Fenimore: The Last of the Mohicans
- Crane, Stephen: Red Badge of Courage
- Hugo, Victor: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
- Irving, Washington: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
- Hugo, Victor: Les Misérables
- Tolstoy, Leo: War and Peace
Great list! Many of these are on my CC list as well. You’ve got quite a few chunky classics here too. Good luck with your final 18 titles!
I see you saved all your chunksters for the end!
Are you reading Les Mis AND War & Peace at the same time? Or is it another 2
I’m currently reading Les Mis, and I’m *supposed* to be reading War and Peace but haven’t really picked it up. They’re both for chapter a day challenges and I’m so far behind!
I’m doing the Les Mis readalong with Nick – is that you too? The twitter conversation has been great if you need inspiration.
No, there was a challenge I came across somewhere that I decided to try out without officially participating. I recently moved to California so I knew I would have trouble keeping up and I also wasn’t sure I wanted to take an entire year to finish the book once I had time.
