Total books for the year: 12 of 50. I thought I would finish Smash! this week, but I got sucked in to Women in Texas, which nearly the first half is all about some of the women who lived before Texas became a state on up to the Civil War. I will finish both books before the end of the month, though, and hopefully all three.

Right now I’m concentrating on finishing up Bearly Departed by Meg Macy and Bibliophile by Jane Mount.
