Dewey’s 24-Hour #Readathon – Update 1

Dewey's Readathon_Pocketwatch_Bellezza

The first 8 hours of Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon have passed and I haven’t fallen asleep on the couch even once!  Instead, I’ve enjoyed several delicious foods and a couple of wonderful books.

  • Pages Read: 296
  • Books Read: How to Survive a Horror Movie by Seth Grahame-Smith, Poison for Breakfast by Lemony Snicket
  • Time Read: 5 hours and 20 minutes
  • Yummy in my Tummy: I had a giant cup of tea, a vanilla yogurt, and a couple slices of cinnamon chip toast with butter for Breakfast. Then I had an egg and sausage kolache for Second Breakfast. I had a blueberry kolache and another giant cup of tea for Elevenses. Then I had the leftover Cajun chicken salad I had in the fridge from yesterday for Lunch, and a snack of grapes, crackers, cheese, almonds, and apricot slices. Later, I had another snack of peanut butter pretzels. I’ve also been drinking plenty of sparkling water.

Until my 2nd update, at midnight EST, I’ll continue reading the remaining books from my TBR stack and, at some point, hopefully, I’ll listen to at least a little bit of World War Z by Max Brooks.

Whether you’re participating in the readathon or not, what book(s) are you currently reading?
