Dewey's Readathon_Pocketwatch_Bellezza
I’ve survived another Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon!

  • Total Pages Read: 900
  • Total Money Raised for RIF and APL: $32.20 for 3 books and 22 pages read.
  • Mini-Challenges Completed: #FitReaders Do 24 (I did 24 slow crunches) and several hours of the Instagram Challenge.
  • Yummy in My Tummy: More ice cream, more spinach chips, lots more tea
  1. Which hour was most daunting for you? 5 am when I couldn’t stop yawning and almost fell asleep on the couch while I was sitting up.
  2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan
  3. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the Readathon next year?  Nope, the readathon keeps getting better and better!
  4. What do you think worked well in this year’s Readathon? The focus on charity.
  5. How many books did you read? 3, but I also listened to part of The Women in the Castle by Jessica Shattuck.
  6. What were the names of the books you read? Yes, Please by Amy Poehler, Due or Die by Jenn McKinlay, and Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan.
  7. Which book did you enjoy most? Yes, Please
  8. Which did you enjoy least? Due or Die
  9. How likely are you to participate in the Readathon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?  I will definitely be participating again, and I might sign up to be a Goodreads discussion moderator.

I’m going to bed now…
