#ThanksgivingReadathon

Tomorrow begins the #ThanksgivingReadathon hosted by Jackie B @ Death by Tsundoku!

The idea is to read as many books as you can between the 21st and 25th of November.  There will also be a Bookstagram challenge and a giveaway so check out the readathon announcement page above to find out all of the details.  While a TBR isn’t required, I created a short one anyway.

My TBR:

  • Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
  • Not the Killing Type by Lorna Barrett
  • Come November by Katrin van Dam
  • One other book from my “Hygge” list.

Are you participating in the #ThanksgivingReadathon?  If not, do you have another readathon or other reading plans for the holiday?  Share in the comments!

  1. If you saw my #ThanksgivingReadathon TBR you might have noticed that none of the hygge books you recommended are on my list. Why? Because I cheated myself and listened to the audiobook for The Little Book of Hygge on the 9-hour drive to my parent’s house. If I had realized how short it has I would have picked up a few more hygge books! Alas, I just have the one, and it’s not part of my readathon. Either way- thanks for the recommendation! I really loved it and it gave me a lot to consider. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on other hygge books.

I am super excited you’re joining up, Rachelle! I love the diversity of your TBR — I find that diverse TBRs really help me keep going during a readathon. Then there is flexibility if I get stuck in a reading rut. I look forward to following your progress.

    1. I’ll be reading A Year of Living Danishly by Helen Russell in January, though I may end up taking it with me to read while I’m visiting the Boyfriend’s family for Christmas. I don’t think it’s specifically about Hygge, but it is related. Most of the other books about Hygge are pretty much the same. I just like them for the cozy pictures and reading them puts me in the Hygge mood, especially during this time of year 😊

      1. That sounds lovely. I’ll look into A Year Of Living Danishly myself. I hope we both enjoy it. XD I need to pick up at least one more hygge book as I have to check out some cozy photos. The audiobook obviously lacked this, but it helped me figure out how to pronounce all the words. 😉
