Having a FitBit is great, but a simple inexpensive pedometer, or even a step counting app on your phone can work just as well πŸ™‚ My primary and long-term fitness goal is to lose weight, but I’m also working on getting to the point where I can pass the Army physical fitness test at my age group. I haven’t been able to do that since I was in the Army, but I also haven’t started trying to get back to that level of fitness since I got out.
