Monday’s Minutes

“Monday’s Minutes” is a weekly post in which I track my bookish life.  All book covers are linked to Goodreads unless otherwise noted.

  •  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling – for the HP re-read.
  •  An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon
  • The Paris Winter by Imogen Robertson

Deathly Hallows Echo Paris Winter

  • My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem
  • The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
  • Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe

Life Storied Moll Flanders

Total pages read: 884

Total # of books for the year: 5.  Now that the 24 in 48 readathon is over I’ll be catching up on reviews.  I’m also determined to finish The Paris Winter this week.

What are you reading this week?

  1. I’m trying to finish off the Xenogenesis trilogy by Octavia Butler for Vintage Sci Fi month. I have to admit, I have an urge to reread the entire HP series in one fell swoop this year, but I’m not sure if my feelings can be handled yet (it’ll be hard imagining Snape knowing the actor who played him so brilliantly has passed).
Looks like you’ve had a great reading week!

    1. I had a really hard time with the ending of HP and the Half-Blood Prince. My eyes kept leaking. So, I haven’t touched HP and the Deathly Hallows since Alan Rickman passed away. That will change sometime this week so that I’ll be finished by the 31st, but I already know it’s going to be difficult. HP Book Night is on the 4th of Feb, so I’m trying to come up with ideas for what to do besides a giveaway like I originally planned (I’m still not working full-time, and can’t afford it).
