#FitReaders Check-In #5

  • This check-in is for Jan. 26th – Feb. 1st.  My goal for this week was an average of 5K steps per day, and since I hit that goal, I’ll be working towards 6K steps per day from Feb. 2nd – 7th.
  • I’ll add 1K steps each week until I’m completing 12K steps per day.  After that, I’ll add in resistance training and/or jogging.  I didn’t go to any hot yoga classes this week.  I wanted to, but trying to get all the writing and reading done on time for my college classes kept me from going.

  • Total Steps: 40,923
  • Total Distance: 16.81 miles
  • Total Floors Climbed: 87 – This probably seems like a lot, but if you saw my campus, which is nothing but hills and stairs, it would make perfect sense.

    1. How I feel varies from day to day and sometimes through out the day but I think that has more to do with all my class work and the stress that comes along with it. I haven’t seen any improvements yet as far as how my clothes fit or my weight, but I think that’s because I’m not yet at the point where I’m burning more calories than I’m taking in, despite eating healthy. I’m hoping to see some results once I get to a 10k average.
